Get ready for the best race ever! The San Jose Challenge urban adventure race is returning to Silicon Valley for our fifth season on Sunday, March 23rd! The Challenge is a ridiculously fun “Amazing Race” style competition packed into one incredible day. Teams of two or more will dash around the city, racing against other Challengers for immortal glory (and cash prizes!) as they solve tricky clues, strategize the best route, and explore undiscovered corners of the city.Think of it like a 5K that tests your brains as much as your legs, with bigger prizes and a whole lot more fun–we guarantee you’ll have a blast!   • Free admission is pretty exciting but when parking in downtown San Jose is limited, which can cost a pretty penny, you need to do some careful planning. Weekdays at 6pm and all day on weekends and big holidays, there are public parking lots and garages in the downtown area that offer free spaces for visitors. The garages are:
  1. Market & San Pedro Square Garage (between Santa Clara and St. John streets)
  2. Third Street Garage (between Santa Clara and St. John streets)
  3. San Fernando & Third Street Lot (Block 3) (between Second and Third streets, north of the San Jose Repertory Theatre)
  4. San Fernando & Second Street Lot (Block 2) (on San Fernando Street, between First and Second streets, across from Gordon Biersch Restaurant)
  5. Pavilion Garage (on Second Street, between San Fernando and San Carlos streets)
